Does anyone have any advice?
A shed hunting in Colorado? I was in a really good place for hunting private land last fall white-tailed deer. I got a very good point in August but there was a larger white-tailed aware that the property was not lucky enough to get me. I want to go and start sheds looking to see if I can not know how big or was he going to be bigger next year. I never close enough to count their points, but I know it was mass. I've never been looking sheds before and want to know what is the best way to do it. Is there any specific sites that show Wehr, like maybe rub their horns against a tree to get them out and I find it? Also what is the best time of year? I heard in late March early febuary was best. Also how I can know if he'll be bigger next year? any advice that you would like to share would be great! Thanks! oh and any pre-season exploring other tips would be nice also
Look around places where they should go too, which seems to hit the loose soil when the deer. I found a few over fences and streams. If it is legal, and if you have a good idea at this point, is money from outside, you could try put some corn in a 5 gallon bucket, after driving four fence posts of metal in the soil around the cube. When it comes to food hub animal, horns are captured in the post and fall, at least in theory. It's a little late here in California, as all the deer have already lost their horns, do not know about Colorado.
