What are the best of their "home organization" tips and suggestions?

Participated in a womans meet Friday and some of us have been asked to give a talk on different topics, organization of mine that I'm a freak I am clean and very well organized around the house. I have a lot of original ideas, but I feel it will not be enogh before the group. I need some very original ideas useful practices for the organization of a house. Can be anthing on how to organize a tool shed how to keep your socks matched children …. IDEAS PLEASE!

My mother handles the clothing brilliantly. Had five children, and each of us is assigned a day of the week to do everything in our own clothes, then on the remaining days of the week that made things more and adult clothing. We started very young. We had to have a stool to reach the knob, but we all learned skills, Sheets and our bed, jeans, and even bath towels (which were assigned by the color) were washed every week in our day. If we could take, we suffer the consequences. Nobody "forgot" two weeks in a row. Sounds like a small thing, but in a large family laundry is never little.
