who can tell me about the humidity in a shed?
I just finished a "12 x 7 'shed witch I use for a craft store wood, so obviously I have to keep the humidity as storing all the wood i there, first I built a row of 9 "x 4" blocks basis throughout the six "anti-humidity and painted with bitumen, built the frame and roof with a 10 degree pitch with 3" x "of wood with two centers 400mm in the course of moisture in the top of the blocks, and putting loft insulation layer of the opinion of the cavity lined inside and out, in the post 4 " a concrete floor damp proof membrane, the windows are sealed and 2 have a small vent above the door and one on the top of the side wall and one at the bottom of the wall, but when I go and turn the heater supersur windows build, together with the condensation on the bottles and jars, is a dehumidifier is the only answer or have I done something wrong when I built it.
T Noah Hall hit the nail on the head; The main byproduct of burning gas is water. When you turn the heater is similar to spray the air with a water master. The invisible water vapor, sits on the cold windows and condenses into water visible. Switch to electric heating and air circulating maintain a floor fan. Entrepreneur since 1960.
