I understand that menstruation is the lining of the uterus shed?

but towards the end of my period I feel a sharp pain then I have it looks almost like a membrane out of me. Definitely not a blood clot. It's one inch to 2inches long. It's real thick, but not blood. I worry because I've always thought it's normal. I have never been pregnant. This worries me because nobody seems to know what I'm talking about. Please someone can help me. Thanks

Does this happen all the time? Each period? If so, then it could be due to the latter part of the lining out of your body, and then also could be something like scar tissue. I suggest you consult with your gynecologist about it. It is better to be safe then sorry!
