Liberals fear the militia and that's good
When the United States of America was born it was thanks to the brave men and women willing to fight tyranny in a way that today would make many Americans (and certainly more liberal, American liberals, so-called socialist) weak. Were these men, the militia, which helped in ways not often remembered. History often masks the fact that many of those who fought against the English Crown were not a regular organized military man, but raised in the fields or down from the mountains and left their homes to take up arms in the struggle.
Were not soldiers. The militia did not have the same rigorous training normal soldier, but in the beginning of the war that was all that the U.S. had. Lightly armed and out of uniform, state militias made up of ordinary men provided the firepower to get the ball rolling. It was not until June 1775 that a regular army was created by the Continental Congress. In the historic year of 1776 began, a total of one third of those fighting for independence militias continued however.
After Washington defeated the English forces at Trenton and captured a thousand of Hesse following his famous and often ornate, crossing the Delaware on Christmas of 1776 was the New Jersey militia finally caused the remains of the British forces had retired to Princeton to withdraw completely back to New York. Was militia who won the Battle of Bennington and was the militia, who joined General Horatio Gates, and helped turn the war with a victory in the Second Battle of Saratoga. It militia that came out of the mountains and pursued loyal English lead by Major Patrick Ferguson and his grave firmly planted atop the mountain of the King in 1780.
So important was the militia of the United States that our founding fathers enshrined his place in our Constitution as one of honor not to be touched. They did this by stating boldly that "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of people to keep and bear arms is not infringed."
Those fighting to oppress the people of this great nation through violations of our Constitution rightly fear that the military because I have seen what happens when American people are too far. They have seen what happened to their fellow oppressors in the past and how Americans reacted by taking up arms when serious error repair was not given. For years they have made every effort to vilify the military because of their own fears of what might happen when the American people has had enough of their bastardization of our government. They have to do something after all to divert attention away from the evil of their own actions because their actions are indefensible.
The left today "progressive" so that progress means a regression to the tyrannies from covered long ago, claim to be Americans, but rarely, if ever, seems to propose ideas in accordance with American ideals. They call people in the militias any insult can invent derogatory. They scoff at them as nut cases playing soldier, among other claims idiots who simply do not stand any kind of historical context. Again, if it were not for the "nut cases playing soldier," back in 1770 the United States would not be here today. King George mocked General the military and was fatal to their effort.
Tyrants if they are liberal or progressive today the kings of the past are just cowards at heart and know that the militia is to be feared. And yes, that's really a good thing. Only when the tyrants and aspiring tyrants fear for their future and even their very lives is so down. King George, after all, did not let the colonies to secede from the goodness of his heart. No, he was forced to submit to the notion of the colonies independent of England at the tip of a gun.
Therefore, being a student of history I am not surprised that aspiring tyrants of the political left would react as viscerally as they are for thinking people and representatives in a state like Oklahoma really want to form a militia. The purpose of this militia to protect the state against an intrusive federal government to break the covenant of our Constitution more easily than Hillary Clinton pants suits to change.
On the political left often can not even be bothered to muss up your own hair for fear of breaking a nail this is an unacceptable action. Are being intensified attacks against the movement trying to paint those contemplating this plan as all the racist lunatic. But once again it shows how uneducated you are with this kind of attacks that are a mile wide and just one sixteenth of an inch deep.
We still have a federal constitution this country that allows only limited powers in our government in Washington. Anything not given is reserved, since many of our Founding Fathers repeatedly told those who questioned the extent of power that were signed at the Congress, the President and the Supreme Court. The military is only self-defense mechanism against those trying to get too far into the powers reserved. Mock them all you want. But in doing so only shows how little I know.
