Is it true that "California King" beds and mattresses are being phased out?

My wife and I are quite high. When originally purchased bed, we had a heck of a time finding a seller who knew what "Cal King" even meant. That was several years ago, do not expect Things have changed a lot. We recently visited a showroom in the mattress looking for a new mattress. A salesman I talked to said the size is being phased out and we would have a heck of a time finding one. In our original purchase accepted the idea that the search for replacement mattress, etc would be more difficult, however, this is the first time he heard the "elimination" story. Since it was followed immediately by launch of a new standard king, I'm skeptical. By the way – found a new mattress. It took two weeks to have it shipped, supposedly because is a custom order. Someone has to shed some light? Thanks in advance.

Well, it is true that the King of California sells the least of all sizes. Then is full. Both sizes can indeed be eliminated due to lack of demand. In a rough economy where prices have soared sky foam, manufacturers mattresses can not afford to continue producing these low sellers. I heard the sound of the last two years in the industry.
