AUSTIN
Austin Town Lake is undoubtedly the perfect place to paddle. The 6 kilometers of water dammed at both ends, so there is no strong current. The climate is mild throughout the year, so do not stop rowing, Winter is actually the favorite moment of the row between the local oarsmen, and spring breakers. No boats or watercraft allowed (except for launch coaches), so no need to worry about the wake.
Rowing Dock is a privately owned, privately owned Rowing Club and installation boat rental located on the west end of Lake City. Here the water is calm and lush banks to create a serene environment. It is easily accessible from MoPac or in the center, and offers ample parking. Rowing Dock is opening a base assistant on duty all year round during the hours of availability to help customers with ships. With proof of the ability and the current membership in any recognized club, the rowers of the city can rent the yacht rowing alone. Other users may rent a selection of single, double and triple kayaks or quadruple water cycles. Visit the website or call for hours.
Austin Rowing Club is a race nonprofit by an elected council. It houses the two major races each year in Austin. Offer sweeping oars and rowing. ARC is located in downtown Austin, near the station Hotel Four, if you get the right time in a row, you can enjoy the nightly bat flight Congress Bridge, you can see from ARC.

BOSTON
Boston and Cambridge are rife with rowing history. Nine huts line the Charles River. Four belong to the clubs: Union, Riverside, Cambridge, and Community Rowing. Five belong to universities: MIT, Boston University, Harvard, Radcliffe, and the northeast. Rowing clients can be difficult depending in which the club was contacted and some clubs require sponsorship of a member. Cygnet Rowing Club, with two landing locations, offers hourly rental of single sculls.

For rowers, an additional source of astonishment is the experience of rowing on the Chicago River in the heart of a great American metropolis.

LOS ANGELES
Sunny Los Angeles offers a lot of great things to the rowers, with the best being the opportunity to paddle throughout the year. There are very few days each year when the weather keeps of getting a great workout. The Angels have the luck rowers row in the port's largest ship built for the little man in the world, a place called Marina del Rey. Marine waters are well protected, allowing the row in the morning flatter water. A head race of three miles is organized by the Yacht Club California each autumn, which is a loop around the Marina. Besides rowing, there are tons of attractions and outdoor activities that took into Los Angeles, with countless hotels and restaurants near the water (and around Los Angeles, which is just minutes from Marina del Rey).

MIAMI
Remo in Miami Beach is a unique experience. The sheltered waterways of Indian Creek are the perfect setting for training, a few steps away from the hotels front Tues affordable. Guests are welcome and can be rented by the hour, provided they have been rowing experience. For winter training, Miami Beach is the place to be. Escape to the warm waters of Biscayne Bay and enjoy panoramic views of tropical islands with palm trees and spectacular sunsets. While rowing at dawn, waiting to be escorted by some playful dolphins, which are often a few meters from our dock. Miles of flat water paddling all year round and a great location are the reasons people called the paradise of Miami Beach rower.

PHILADELPHIA
Philadelphia was one of the cities original rowing States Together. Is home to the infamous Boathouse Row and is home to hundreds of oarsmen and women. On any given day of the week, you can find many boats that go from the Boating Club high school students to collegiate rowers. Philadelphia is home to dozens of races each year, including the Dad Vail Regatta, Stotesbury Cup Regatta, Regatta Day Independence and the Head of the Schuylkill. Remo in Philadelphia is truly an experience I could feel in a few cities in the U.S..

Philadelphia is full of a wide range of historical sites, museums and interactive centers. One of the most famous is the Philadelphia Art Museum. The staircase leading to it's exact running in the movie Rocky Rocky. There is also the Franklin Institute, which has a variety of activities and an IMAX theater. The Philadelphia Zoo is only five minutes from Boathouse Row. And you can not visit Philadelphia, home of Independence without visiting the Liberty Bell.

SAN DIEGO
Remo in San Diego is more or less located in Mission Bay, about six miles north of San Diego airport, and flanked by Mission Beach and Pacific Beach. The area is full of restaurants, beach and bay boardwalks, and hotels and accommodation. San Diego Rowing Club is located in Mission Beach, with ZLAC Rowing Club located in Pacific Beach. In general, because skiers, most of rowing is done in the early hours or at dusk, but there are plenty of water, and the ever-changing landscape, with bird sanctuaries, feathers Sea World and local marine life.

San Diego has it all and most of it a few miles from the airport and rowing clubs from Seaworld (local train crews beyond the shows and penguins) Belmont Park (with an original wooden coaster, swimming pool and an amusement park right on the beach) and Old Town (historical area that specializes in specialty stores TIP and restaurants, make lunch, evening out can be a drag if you're really hungry), Balboa Park has museums, restaurants and world famous Zoo San Diego, or you can head north to Birch Aquarium at UCSD's campus. A little further you can go to Wild Animal Park or Legoland (40 minutes north) or south of Tijuana, Mexico (20 minutes by car, 30 minutes by car from San Diego). You can find shopping trip for Legoland or the last U.S. exit San Ysidro (large purchases of all major sports shoe companies, in addition to Levi and the usual suspects). Interested in wildlife human? View Garnet Street in Pacific Beach or downtown Gaslamp district.

SEATTLE
Remo in Seattle is rather mystical. Rowers often begin their day with the launch while looking at the top of Mount Rainier, and seeing the reflection of dawn breaking over the horizon of the city a glance. Then there are a lot of water to choose from, all of which have a different taste and feel. An address can take paddlers a navigation channel to the Puget Sound (Locks) where barges, boats and large fishing vessels along the coast. Rowing on Lake Union offers the opportunity to see the stunning skyline of Seattle. Turn north of Lake Union and Portage Bay is home to many houseboats up and down in the water. The Montlake Cut, or "cutting" as is known, connects through the locks Puget Sound Lake Washington. Once through the cut, Husky rowers usually inhabit this area. Rowing on the lake Washington, offers spectacular views of the Olympic Mountain range and Mount Rainier.
Rowers can go every day of the year. Inclement time are few and far between, despite a steady drizzle mild winter is common. When the sun rises, is without doubt one of the most spectacular cityscapes rowing.

Seattle is composed of twenty-six districts which all have their own character and charm. Fremont, near Lake Washington Rowing Club is a funky / artistic neighborhood full of unique shops, restaurants and pubs. In Fremont, you can visit the famous elf beat a Volkswagen living under the Aurora Bridge or spacecraft that is stuck in a building or statue of people waiting for the bus.
A few miles Fremont is another neighborhood called Ballard. In Ballard, you can still listen to Swedish and Norwegian spoken in the streets. Ballard traditionally occupied by the fishing industry in Seattle which was dominated by Scandinavian immigrants. If you want fresh fish market, this is the place to go.
North of the University District is the Greenlake neighborhood. This very popular lake has a walking / biking / skating path around the whole lake (about 3 miles). The north side of Greenlake has some coffee shops and a wonderful house soup big fish.
Capitol Hill is the gay / lesbian / artistic part of Seattle. It is known for its nightlife and houses a strip of trendy nightclubs. The best cup of coffee in Seattle also could have on the Capitol in the Espresso Vivace.
The downtown Seattle area has an outdoor market most famous open Pike Place. This market is known for its flying fish, crafts, food, cakes and shopping. Virtually anywhere you go in Seattle you'll find something completely different and unique.

WASHINGTON, DC
Rowing in the capital of the country since early 1800. The oldest boat club in Washington, DC, Potomac Boat Club (circa 1869), is well over thirty years of age. Thompson Boat Center, a public school located in a river half-mile from the Potomac Boat Club home to most high school and college rowing programs in the area. Thompson Boat Center, people can rent single sculls per hour, provided can prove they have rowing experience. Capital Rowing Club, located near the Navy Yard in Southeast DC, the rows in the Anacostia River, and also provides opportunities for rowing guest. Perhaps best of oars in the DC was able to see many of the sights of the coast, such as the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial and Arlington Cemetery to name a few.

Obviously, there are numerous tourist attractions in Washington, DC, but a couple of sites near Potomac Boat Center Thompson Boat Club and include the Iwo Jima Memorial and Cemetery Arlington National Cathedral, a large number of monuments in and around the Smithsonian, and walking and shopping in historic Georgetown, Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan. If you are in the neighborhood of Capital Rowing Club, a nice place to visit on the weekends is the Eastern Market, an outdoor crafts and food market has been existence for over 100 years. It is just opposite the metro station of this market.
A good place to have lunch or dinner right on the Potomac River is Tony and Joe or Sequoia at the port of Georgetown in Washington. In good weather, the restaurants are packed on weekends, and are great places for people watching.
