Need help identifying this bird.?
I found this today while walking bird Reifel Island Bird Sanctuary in Vancouver BC. It seems a cross between a mallard and green-winged teal. Just follow this link I hope http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e8/dyingtickles/Half-Breed.jpg can shed some light on the subject.
What seems to be a total mallard duck that has just emerged from a molt. They shed their head feathers green when move and grow new feathers.
