do these two phrases mean the same thing? English question?
sentence1: Do not meddle in my affairs! sentence2: Do not interfere with my business! Dictionary said synonymous interfere and mingle and share the same use. I wonder if they are always interchangeable? Is there any difference between them? Hope native speakers can shed light on the matter for me. Thanks!
Basically the same thing. And basically, I mean exchanging one for another reality, it would a problem. However, "meddling" would be more implies that the person is actually entering your business. Interference may be more passive. As you may not directly into your business, but somehow altering. However, it is more or less fair interpretation, and it's probably fine to use.
