What is the difference between DVD + R and DVD-r? CD + R and CD-R?

I'm just not sure what the + o-media. What is the difference. The packages do not seem any different except for color and the prices are identical. When "W" is added to the disc type is rewritable (as in DVD + /-RW or CD + /-RW). "+" Y "-" are burning different types of discs. In the past, it was essential because Some players can only play DVD-R discs and some can only play DVD + R. Now is not essential and general today are the same. Unless you need to use your discs with DVD players too old, you should not bother you.
