shed moose antlers
Is it possible that a moose with horns have great early spring?

I know they covered in the fall, but not always in the shed? In our local shrine, someone wrote that he saw one with a huge rack last week. Is this possible?

Moose shed their antlers in late autumn or early winter, after the routine. Begin to grow again in spring, covered with a layer of skin called velvet, which carries the nutrients needed for bone developing. The horns are fully grown in time for the routine in the fall, and velvet caught in the branches and bushes. The males then use them to fight for access to females (females have no horns). It would be very unlikely to have large elk antlers in the spring, but there is a small chance that, if the animal has a type of hormonal imbalance, their antlers could not have been shed when they should have been.
