What is the best wood for use in a shed?

I build an outdoor shed with walls on three sides only. What would the best wood to use is strong, looks nice, waterproof, basically good for the slopes and not too expensive Also, what is the best kind materials to use for a roof ontop of the wood. It would be a flat roof, looks good, the chain so often falls on us, waterproof:) Any advice help thanks

Use the feather edge tanalised, 2×2 tanalised should last 20yrs + obtained from the local timber and builders merchant. Do not use string!
