I sink 4 "x 4" placed on the use of concrete piers or metal anchors? I'm worried about cutting.?
I'm building a "12 x 12 'shed with four 12" concrete posts, one at each corner. I have read that the sinking of the posts will be stronger, but could crack the concrete at the time with the expansion of ice form. Anchors are strong enough posts? I'm worried about high winds and lateral movement. DIY Doctor, I have to use the docks because the grade is uneven by about 24 compared to the way "on his back. Because it is poured on my city 100sqft requires footings or slab. Is there a better way?
Either way will work. Having a degree above the 4×4 to prolong life, however.
