Any ideas for a small farm business?
My husband's job was exported and we like to do something Homebased with this property. Only we have 12 hectares of arable land, but we have a huge barn, tool shed and grain bin. At this time farm land lease, shed for tools and grain bin, but you can not live on that. We thought of a Bed and Breakfast or offering hunting trips and we also have about 15 hectares of forest. We believe in building a BMX race track in the 12 acres, but this is challanging since we live in a farming community total. Any ideas are very appreciated.
Neighbours Depending on your environment, you have to go to zoning in order to Bed and Breakfast, and a BMX track. Would be open to neighbors and could complain about noise and such. Make a camp or BMX also costly insurance .. You need to take this into consideration when it comes of public insurance may be costly. With 12 hectares, there are many things you can do. Do you like animals? I know an older couple who started a farm dairy goats with only 5 hectares of land (which is all of their property) have more than 100 heads of goat, distance in all food and fertilizer sales to persons want to garden. They have a contract with a company goat milk, which contains milk once a week. What are your interests? U.S. imports more than 1 million goats each year for food! Not enough people who raise and sell for the meat market. Cabra arises as beef, therefore knows Beef, But there's no fat .. is lean like venison. There are many other things, so I would suggest, in fact the idea list is endless. It really is what you are interested to make, how much you want to invest and how much you want to do? Good luck …
