building a foundation?
I need a shed in my backyard. I have an old 10×15 cement plate, where the garage used to be. the slab is not level at all (about 1 1 / 2 inches from side to side) I want to build a base to put a 7×10 wodden Rubbermaid Big Max Ultra Shed. Any suggestions to help level the foundation and prevent deterioration of the wood.
1 1 / 2 inches is not bad also pending that could have been planned for water drainage in the past. Since you want the new shed level you just get a 10 'length of "pressure treated" lumber and construction basic framework and level before installing the shed. Given the long use of a good 6 'level and fit the pieces accordingly. Use of composite self-leveling not a bad idea, but if you are looking for a solution and fast structurally stronger then just build a basic framework. Good luck!
