The legacy of Red Marble

My father was a pastor / evangelist. Basically, I lived in the church. My love for the Lord was moving and alive! Through the years as I grew older and experienced many wounds in the body of Christ, I became the proverbial "prodigal daughter." One day after many years when my dad visited me, took some change from his pocket, and in it was a red marble. He told me: "Dad, why you have red marble in his pocket? "He picked it up, I approached the light, and at that time seems to glow red marble. He replied:" I take this red marble in his pocket as a reminder. "I said, what? He looked into her eyes and began to speak," as a reminder of the last drop of blood that my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ shed for me on the cross. I still remember how those words pricked my heart, because I was away from the Lord and is not willing to surrender. Years later, however, I regretted it and went home to my Heavenly Father, and after many years that my father went home to be with his Heavenly Father. In my father's funeral people from all over came to me carrying their red marbles, some became outstanding, a little in pendants, and some in tie tacks, some only in their mixed change. All told the same story, his father gave me this red marble and through it I gave my heart and my life to Jesus Christ. A list was found in their records of all red marbles he had bought and given away, but ascended to 10,000. A crystal bowl sat next to his coffin full of red marbles and all were invited to take freely. As I said goodbye to my earthly father, my Heavenly Father spoke to my heart. So many people had stories to tell my dad and red marbles. A few months after Dad's death, I received a letter from my niece, her granddaughter. the hands of the man she loved.

The distance between us made us forget.

My sadness followed soon regret

As I walked in the room to see the body of my father for the first time after his death, I could not believe my eyes. On his chest lay a snap and took a red marble. There was a light shining on his body and hit the dead center of marble making lights. It spreads through your heart. Everywhere I went in the room, and we can look back to my father, the snap shine like a beacon in the dark.

My mind race back to the many times he had shared with me the story of the red marble. Even then, at every glance, I was telling the story of red marble again, and all who came. The blood that covered his heart cried out to all those who want to learn. It was the story of the cross, Jesus Christ and him crucified.

Still yelling at each other and for you, the reader. It cries out for love, redemption, forgiveness, restoration and eternal life. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life. "John 3:16 If you do not know Jesus, if you have no personal, intimate relationship with Him, you can, and you can have today, at this very moment. Jesus' blood redeems us, cleanses us, justifies us, sanctifies us, gives us life, intercede for us and gives us access to the Father. What better reason could we have to wear a red marble in his pocket? What better reason we must continue the Legacy of Red Marble?
