Menu outdoor reception / Decoration Ideas?

The reception will be held at our home. Type small cabin in the woods with large shed and the placement of large tents to accommodate about 500 guests. We are thinking of roasting a pig. What other ideas for food? It's nothing too formal. The decor is a bit formal thing only. DJ will be in the barn for dancing later. Prolly make it a buffet just because is both to feed the family.
