Is it worth spending money on me a shed for my bike?
I recently had my last bike nicked, I am in the process of seeking a new bike. I was thinking of buying a shed and put a little more security in the shed, poss put a bar sink inside and change the screws in the fixtures. Is it worth all the fuss or am I just putting a big sign on the back bike in the yard saying here!

For security reasons I recommend getting a soil and cement anchor at the base to be set for the new shed. About 18 "deep should do it (only about anchoring – typically 6 / 12 inch should be dandy elsewhere. So you just depend on the quality of the lock or chain to adhere to it. I have seen some construction including concrete bases in the past, and security reinforced door (the owner Duk). Remember that what they can not see, will not want to steal. So we really have done this, their only concern is whether someone follows you home and check the place. If your shed is visible from the road, maybe have a panel of the fence or two to protect the bike to steal the eyes when you get out of the shed – If viewed from the side. Another factor to consider is how could they steal – Is there room for a van to invest up to the location of the bike? With an anchor, it will not nowhere – but it must be used in conjunction with quality locks. After having done all, say the insurers so you can get some discount
