Questions? – Chihuahua Long Hair shedding?
My family is long time poodle died a little over a week and we're looking for get a new dog. My family consists of a father mother and three girls, including me. Our ages are 17, 14, and 5. I was thinking of getting a long-haired chihuahua, I've heard Chihuahuas shed less than short hair. Do you shed a lot? Is it okay to use the FURminator on them? If you use it, how is the shedding of low then? My sister, a child of five years, has been with the toy poodle so should be fine with a Chihuahua. Any other comments good or bad with chihuahuas? Also, what about shampoos that are supposed to reduce the shedding … are safe and work? Could you use a FURminator? All opinions of others? What are your favorite and least favorite things about them?
