I got a letter recently telling me I'm in violation of code enforcement (In Lake County, CA), to allow the occupation of my shed. This cover is so nice that we built, which is almost exclusively a single room that is my bed, my desk / computer and storage elements in general. However, I have been informed that you can not take and I have to comply within a couple of weeks. My question is what exactly is the occupation? If I get rid of my bed and sleep there, follow the demand is in violation of the code, because I have a desktop or the computer there? I am seeking clarification on what I can do in my own shed, such as, are there any quick and easy way to obtain a permit or something I can "fill" my own ship: / I have no idea at all if I can say I can not have a computer in my shed, if anyone is aware of that much I would appreciate it. Also, if there good sites and forums where you can ask questions so that is appreciated too.

If you sleep there, which is the occupation. If you got your license so you can run the power, then move the bed and tell them not want to live in. They have no right to say what to do the rest of the time.
