How to decorate your garden?
I just finished building cedar '8 'x8 a garden shed. I have a trellus it with foilage northwest of the ship about 5 'from the corner. My house is about 15 'north of the ship. I like to decorate the floor with plants and a hallway to the door of the shed (north side of the ship). Lots of shade with little sun in the north and in the afternoon sun in the west of the shed. Any suggestioins?
Yes, I would put in hosta to fill the area with shade and astillbe in the sunniest and includes a bird house on a pole for decoration near the shed (which can be used next spring). I also could put in a mailbox painted antique as you like (which creative sound, I did mine as watermelon) by the gateway to the shed as a place to set hand garden tools. Soon billboards in front of the ship would hardly look good too. Not sure about your space there though. Everything will come together to look very attractive. I've done everything above plus several others looking for the yard, that is, a machine manual of age with a pot of flowers on top wheelbarrow full of flowers, bird baths, garden statues mixed flowers and sunshine all depending on location of the house. My garden is large with many flowers for me to go to several places of coordination and even includes a pond a couple of years ago. Have fun.
