how high can you build a brick shed in the garden is a law on how high it can be
What you need permission to build a shed brick, I know that for a wooden shed you can put them im sure there must be an extreme example of height of 6 feet anyone know I'll have to call the council as the nave of the people in the back of me is alfull and must be 12 feet tall and stands out like a sore thumb, its so hard when your neighbors as I do not want to stay with them but i dont really want to see a 12ft im in the garden shed
I have reproduced an answer I gave to a question published shortly after his that will give you an idea: "In England & Wales can fill half of your garden with units without the need for planning permission subject to certain restrictions. A large features are: Must be over 5 meters from the nearest part of the house or they are classed as extensions. They should not be closer to a road house, ie not in the front yard or side yard if you are on a corner plot. No more than 4 meters with ridged roof or 3 meters in any other case. Should be used for a purpose "ancillary" to the main house, ie for domestic purposes. You should check whether these rights have been previously deleted by the board (rare but can happen) and there are no restrictive covenants in their deeds. If you rent the property must obtain the consent of the owner. "If your neighbor has fulfilled the above then no building permit would be required if built of wood or brick. You may need the approval of building regulations, but some units are exempt – it would have to consult with his Council.
