Public says "Get on your bike"
People across Britain are being urged to get on their bikes, in an attempt help save the environment.
An example of these people are living in Nottingham, which has been asked to use its 2 wheels instead of his normal four, as Greenweeks annual campaign is set up this week.
Three weeks of events and awareness programs will be held from May 23 to 14 June, local people to reduce their carbon footprint.
A series of organized bike rides will be held by Transition West Bridgford, which aims to inspire people to take up cycling.
Karina Wells, of the organization, said: "Cycling ticks lots of boxes – is healthy, it is very easy, not too expensive to make a bike and you can be quite long distances quickly. "
The new technology results in new environmental standards

A spokesman for the Environmental Transport Association (ETA) said: "This wonderfully simple idea also solves the problem of finding storage space bicycles in urban areas. "
