Need help with regard to careers in art / tattoos?
Hello everyone, I have 16 years, just started in Year 11. I live in Sydney, and my brother asked her to move with him to Queensland. I said I love after more schools, in November next year. That made me think, if I'm going to be sharing a house, responsibilities, etc. I will need money, and a steady job. I'm good at art, but I really want to develop to the point where I am fantastic. I've always been creative, and since January last year, I have my piercing, and have researched lots, and I like to think I'm a good piercer. I want to be a good tattoo artist as well. theres really a lot of things on the table and I do not know what to do. I want to go to college for graphic design, visual arts or something. I do not know what to do. Can anyone shed some light on how this works? Experiences? Etc. Thanks. Ps pity or wall of text.
I suggest you go to college to earn a degree in Art. (Studio) While they usually do not have a tattoo approach, you can focus on painting or drawing, and develop skills that will help your career Tattoo. If you can find an internship (or develop) to get some experience in college tattoo, that would be a great option. Maybe get a job at a tattoo shop while still in college, which is fine, the experience during his day job, he help with ideas for classes, and vice versa. Who knows, maybe someday you become famous for combining fine arts with the art of tattoo.
