The most bang for the buck …?

My wife and I recently bought a house with 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms in public center of the AP. It was a forclosure that was originally asking $ 145k, but we got it for less than $ 130 K. When the house was assessed at $ 132K. As we have moved to add all new appliances (of which there were none), painted and repaired the minor damage to the house. We have a meeting sitting around and want some great do some things and then the house appraised again with the hope of eliminating our PMI. So what is the most bang for the buck of the following Articles: Add a fence in the backyard (around $ 2,500) Add a shed (around $ 1,200) Finish the basement (is plumbed for a bathroom) and the whole place is bone dry. Price unknown, but it will be more than $ 4k is my guess though I'm doing the work myself. As I said, the hope is to get another estimate of the house and hopefully get rid of our PMI ASAP.

If I am not mistaken it takes at least 15% of the shares in order to get rid of PMI, which would mean if need for the house to about $ 152K. If it were me, I would like to pay a debt or do anything that would end up saving more per month than the elimination of the Cross PMI. (I know exactly how you feel, what you hate, is a scam, BUT – compared to other things you are paying for debt service as a system heating or inefficient.) Also, I am familiar with the center of PA have lived in Altoona, Reading and State College (we ARE Penn State) and be not always take back what you put into a house, so if you were me, I would like to speak with a local realtor and see what they say about your particular neck of the woods – they know best, not us.
