That is a pain of a question. I usually do not answer questions clearly the work but this seems a little interesting, and I'm bored. 1 can of soft drink = 36g of glucose. The molecular weight of glucose is 180.16g/mol and the formula is C6H12O6, so that 6 atoms 72g/mol carbon given to each molecule, or 40%. So 36g of glucose = 14.4g of pure carbon per can. Now for the skin, rather difficult. This bit requires a bit of interpretation of the question, when the teacher said "replace the outer skin cells every 30 days" we assume he was referring only to the layer of dead skin, or stratum corneum, and unless otherwise have said in class, I am assuming its 30 cells of depth that is equal to 1500μm deep (30 * 50 ¼) = 0.0015m 1500μm deep. Given that you have a skin area of 1.8m2, which gives a volume of 0.0027m3 which is also equal to 2700cm3 of dead skin cells dry. You has been cited in the density of skin cells hydrated 1g/cm, since a cell is about 60% water, the dry density of a cell would be 40% that (0.4g/cm3), however, since water loss would lose cell volume too, presumably 60% loss, so it would 0.4g/0.4cm3, 1g/cm3 or original.
