DIY theater
The last time I did a quick look for theater games, I was surprised to discover how much you can pay for an item as it, not to mention the added shipping costs of all wood. Did not take me long to realize that money spent on postage is paid only most of the wood if you build the same theater. Now the challenge is finding theater plans that I am able to build.
Here is where it gets a little tricky. If you've looked around, you've seen some designs elaborate playhouse for sale. Most of these plans seem to be made by carpenters with experience that project approach as a simple scaled-down version of the royal family they are building. There is nothing wrong with having a playhouse built with this type of strength and integrity, but if the average DIY builder can take on a project like this is another story. If you know how to build a house, or know someone who does, these types of plans will work fine theater. If not, take some care to find a project design that is in their range of skills.
The good news is that theaters do not really need the same structural details can be found in a real home. Here are some places in the basic design which can cut some corners, and still have a perfectly fine Play homes for children.
Houses – Some of the most elaborate theater plans call for 2×6 wood on all members of the floor joist. This is fine for home and outdoor sheds, but a small theater might work well with 2×4 cheaper. Go ahead keep with typical space the floor joists (16 "on center) and I on the left with ¾ "plywood on top.
Walls – Some plans to be a bit away by building walls, following the same techniques used in building a real house. That means many of the posts stop intricate, window headers and door frames. Most these features can be simplified. For example, it is not really necessary to keep the wall studs 16 "on center. A wooden wall only needs a tables to hold, one on each side and one or two media. And a single window can be easily cut from the center of the plywood, and framed with wood trim.
Roof – always a good idea to keep a gambling house water tight, so the ceiling is where you should pay more attention. Most calling plans for typical roof construction, and that means wood siding, tar paper and asphalt shingles. With a small roof to work, this is money well spent no matter how simple of a design to settle. The way to save time and money here is to skip the typical style with gabled roof and build a simple one piece with a slope. This will do a good job of keeping rain and snow off site and save you the trouble of cutting a lot of angles of the beams.
