Choosing the right dog for your situation
When considering getting a dog either for the first time or if you have had many dogs and experienced should always consider all factors involved in pet ownership. Dogs should not be chosen on a whim, you should carefully consider what race would be the better physical fitness and his family the same size as those of maintenance if you have a long or short, etc.
You should investigate and find dog breeds of a race that fits the age range that interests you must also decide if you are interested in a thoroughbred or a stray dog, male or female, puppy or adult, and should take into account the temperament that best fits your family.
The first thing to address is the breed of dog. If there is a race sure you like the look, color, or personality of, you should spend some time researching that breed and talk to people online or in your area who own that breed. Be sure to ask about health problems that run in that particular breed and temperament, and if they are good with children if you plan on having the dog around children. Taking the extra time can save a lot of pain after the race if you discover that love has health problems that end up costing thousands of dollars that do not have.
To the choose the race, make sure it is consistent with the size of the area you have available for your pet. You can love Great Danes, but if you have a 10×10 patio and long walks several times a day you should consider a smaller dog.
You should also have the dog's coat into consideration. Most of dogs shed, but some shed more than others and some breeds do not shed at all, but require special court because their hair grows continuously.
If the dog requires special care with your shield or health problems should be prepared for additional costs that will be involved with this pet. Having a dog is a commitment to life and rewards you for years, but if you can not look after them properly, it is better not to have a dog at all.

I have found dogs that have been housed in a shelter for any period of time are not training and the house so you have to start again with it, and may have been exposed to the disease in the close environment of the home. If you purchase a home be sure they have an agreement for the care or reimbursement if the dog should come down with kennel cough or other common illness kennel.
If you buy from a breeder be sure to find out if the person is reliable by asking questions about their breeding practices and their contracts. A breeder a reputation that contract and will be able to answer any questions you have about how and why race and history of your dog.
Lifespan is another important factor in choosing a dog. If you truly love large breeds that have to be prepared to lose sooner. Medium to small breeds live several years longer than larger breeds. The larger breeds tend to have hip and knee problems as well, although some smaller breeds also can, it is more common in the larger dog.
Do you have a preference for male or female dogs? Be sure to keep that in mind when you are looking. Do not just say – "Ah, well, we'll settle for this!" This is a decision you live with for many years so you should consider care.
In some breeds more females a link to a person and watch and guard, and males are more territorial and monitor and protect your yard, house, etc. In their research race you may want to find out if this is true so that you can choose based on what works best for you.
Finally, but not least is the dog's temperament. You should always consider whether this breed of dog tends to be hyper active and always running, jumping and playing, or is a more sedentary race. If you want a lap dog do not choose an active race. All dogs have more energy than young people as humans, but some breeds are more relaxed. You must choose a race with the features you are looking for instead of trying to force an active dog that is fixed or sedentary dog run.
If you choose carefully and train with care you enjoy your dog for many years. Your dog will be a pleasure for you and your family and all who come into contact with.
